San Jose, Feb 9 (IANS) fifty-year-old Laura Chinchilla became the first woman president of Costa Rica after she won 64.7 percent votes in the country’s general election this weekend.
With over 64.7 percent of votes, the Supreme Electoral Court confirmed that Laura Chinchilla became the president of Costa Rica, a nation with over 4.5 million inhabitants.
